In a remarkable display of mathematical prowess, the 2023 International
Mathematics Wizards Challenge (IMWIC) was successfully conducted ONSITE in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from June 23 to 26, 2023. The event witnessed the participation of four countries, namely the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Simultaneously, several other nations, including South Africa, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Macau, and India, joined the competition through the online platform.
The prestigious SJK-C La Salle school, a renowned government institution in Kuala Lumpur, served as the venue for this intellectually stimulating contest. The IMWIC 2023 showcased the exceptional mathematical skills of young minds, fostering healthy competition and camaraderie among the participants.
The event culminated in a grand awarding ceremony, where the top performers were recognized for their outstanding achievements. A total of 11 gold medals, 19 silver medals, 30 bronze medals, and 26 Merit Certificates were bestowed upon the deserving winners of the IMWIC 2023.
